Kenneth Branagh Heads To Guernsey

And Thor 2 might have found a director.... Since he's made the decision to skip the opportunity to direct the Thor follow-up, Kenneth Branagh is really a guy searching for a brand new helming assignment. Well, if Fox 2000 has its own way, he'll occupy the megaphone for that Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society. It may sound about as far in the adventures of Asgard as possible (we question when the rainbow bridge can achieve Guernsey), however it seems like a big change of pace for Branagh after dealing with a super hero saga. Serta Roos authored the script, modified from Annie Barrows and Mary Ann Shaffer's bestseller, which follows a flourishing letter relationship from a author working in london along with a resident from the island who relates the storyplot from the titular society, one used like a cover to assist its people undermine the German occupation throughout World War Two. But switching to Branagh's previous gig as it were... It's like Marvel and Disney may have found anyone to dominate the reins for Thor and co, as John Kirk has become at the begining of talks. Kirk's title will possibly not be known in film circles, but he's created out a good status like a TV director on sides of water-feature. In addition to instances of shows for example Luther, Dexter, Boardwalk Empire and Funland, he's been winning praise for being a member of the overall game of Thrones team. Oh, and that he has got the Beeb's Great Anticipation next on his to-do list getting just finished turning out shows for Deadwood creator David Milch's new equine racing series Luck. You can observe why focusing on Bet on Thrones might leapfrog him up from the list... Question whether they can look for a role for Peter Dinklage within the follow up?With Chris Hemsworth and also the gang set to come back, the film already includes a release date of This summer 26, 2013...
