Director of 'Judge Dredd' Remake Reportedly Gets Fired

It's rare that a director gets fired from a production after filming wraps, but according to the LA Times that's just what happened to 'Dredd' director Pete Travis. Per the Times, creative disagreements between producers and executives reached a boiling point recently, causing Travis's ouster. Writer-producer Alex Garland ('28 Days Later') is now taking over post-production tasks and may even seek a co-directing credit for all the work he has put in over the course of the movie.
